Our City Haven project was a full gut renovation of an existing home for an active young couple with children. Inspired by the clients' preference for a mountain farmhouse aesthetic, we embraced elements that spoke to the warmth of those ideas while remaining grounded in the home’s urban, Chicago setting. Cozy textiles were layered in with bold silhouettes, plain sawn-wood accents were introduced throughout and expressive stone moments were prioritized wherever possible.
