HIGHLAND HIDEOUT

Nestled in a spacious Highland Park lot, this 1900 Georgian style home was reimagined as a serene weekend escape for a Chicago-based family of four. Our third collaboration since 2012, this project centered on creating a sophisticated yet laid-back environment perfect for poolside lounging, entertaining friends, and embracing artful living. Rooms strike a balance between comfort and luxury, featuring playful, unexpected touches that reflect the family’s dynamic spirit. Designed as a flexible retreat, the home also offers the possibility of becoming a primary residence in the future—one that feels both effortlessly stylish and endlessly welcoming.
